Dear Rishi,

Sorry to be so long in replying. These two resources have been helpful for
me in my work with a community coalition. Perhaps you will find them useful:

Working in Partnership--Recipes for Success (from Alberta). This is a
workbook with articles and thought-provoking exercises to help get through
the practicalities of working in an intersectorial coalition.

ership_kit/index.asp

Community Tool Box (from University of Kansas). This is a series of
articles that trace the general evolution of community coalitions. It is
organized in a way that you can follow the issues that are pertinent to a
brand new coaltion, a young coalition, one that has matured...It also
allows you to look things up in a Trouble-shooting context. For instance,
if you are having problems with sustainability, you can go to articles
specifically on that topic...Quite useful.
