Alliances, Coalitions, and Partnerships, Multi-Stakeholder Processes
A Workshop with Joan Roberts, M.A.

Friday December 6, 2002
9:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
Oakham House, 63 Gould St. at Church St, Toronto

 Multi-stakeholder processes are an emerging tool to address large scale
systemic problems.  This is a workshop for community developers, health
promoters, and service providers.

Topics to be covered include the Basics of Multi-stakeholder
Organizations, and How They Work, Power and Boundaries, Tools for
Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Policy Making, Lateral Leadership
and Best Practices.

Joan Roberts has over 20 years of experience designing and facilitating
small and large group processes, and as a social innovator.  She holds a
Masters Degree in Organization Development.  Her thesis focus was
multi-stakeholder processes. A book is in process with the working title
Alliances, Coalitions and Partnerships.

Upcoming articles will appear in the Collaborative Work Systems
Fieldbook published by John Wiley and Sons (Mar 2003).
