Symposium 07 - CHARTING A COURSE: Exploring Directions in Public Health

 

You are invited to Symposium 2007, hosted by the School of Public Health
(University of Alberta). CHARTING A COURSE: Exploring Directions in
Public Health will be held on November 15th & 16th at Lister Centre on
the University of Alberta campus, Edmonton, AB.

 

This exciting two-day event will explore the socio-behaviourial contexts
that influence public health from the perspectives of research, policy,
and practice.

Registration is now open. The early bird deadline is October 15 and the

Symposium 07 - Call for Abstracts

 

You are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation
for the School of Public Health's Symposium 07.

 

The purpose of the symposium is to share ideas and information about
research, policy, and practice pertaining to the behavioral,
environmental, and socio/cultural perspectives of public health in
Alberta - now and in the future. 

 

Abstracts are invited for qualitative and quantitative oral and poster
presentations. Presentations may focus on any topic related to the
overall theme of exploring directions of socio-behavioral contexts in
public health and can be related to research or community practice. 

 

Deadline for submissions: September 15, 2007
