I recently published a paper "Health promotion from a feminisit persepctive:
A framework for an effective health system response to woman abuse" in
Resources for Feminist Research, 26(3/4), 175-202. One of my main points is
that risk reduction and prevention models are inadequate and health promotion
is a more promising framework. Another paper that might interest you is :
Thurston, Cory, Scott (1998). Building a feminist theoretical framework for
screening of wife-battering: Key issues to be addressed. Patient Education
and Counseling, 33,299-304.
I'm very interestd in your work. Please add me to a contact list if you have
one.
Thank you in advance,
Billie Thurston
