Hi Gerard
I am aware of a chap called Geoff Miller who was involved in coordination
and implementation of the WPHC up in Nth Qld. I believe that the WPHC has
moved from a pilot phase into being locally coordinated by key public health
people in public health units in the tropical public health unit network.
Geoff may be contactable via the Tropical Public Health Unit Network. I cant
remember if he's based in Cairns or Townsville public health units.
T'ville's reception no is  07 4750 4000. They could let you know if he is
there or if he is at Cairns. I haven't seen him for a while so dont know if
he'll still be on WPHC stuff or remember me.
The Mt Isa Public Health Unit has a Public Health Nurse called Phyllis
Kirvesniemi who I believe may be involved with WPHC Coordination locally in
Mt Isa. You can contact her thru  07 4743 9374. I used to work with her. She
may help you perhaps.
