conference/information session. May Wong, Executive Director of The Omega
Foundation and designer of the SmartSAVER project will release a new report
that explores the opportunity to improve low-income students’ participation
in post-secondary education through better use of education savings.

The report highlights a number of practical recommendations to ensure that
low-income families have:
- better access to grants that already exist and have been designated to
them;
- more support from charities and others to help them save; and
- better financial information to make decisions about education saving.
