                        Hi Linette -

Could you please forward Jean the information
that the NVRC developed last year through the Personal and Social
Development Committee re: handling life threatening allergies in a
community/recreation centre setting? I will be away from work for a few
days and do not have access to my files, only to email.

                        Many thanks,

                        Arleta

and/practices in community
                        centres

                        Hi there,
We are currently looking into the issue of
peanut/nut-free policies and
practices in community centres (i.e. arenas,
recreation centres, etc.),
specifically in the context of reducing the risk
of anaphylaxis. I was
simply wondering what other health departments,
health units, community
centres, etc. are doing or recommending in terms
of policies and/or
practices for these types of centres.

Thank you in advance for your time,
