The main e-mail server for the campus (mailrelay.yorku.ca) was out of
service from 4:00pm to 4:35pm Tuesday, May 14 due to a system crash
which corrupted the password file. During that period, any e-mail
being sent/received via SMTP on the mailrelay.yorku.ca system would
have been queued at the originating site and delivered later when
services resumed at 4:35pm -- no messages should have been lost.

We regret the inconvenience this might have caused.
