The central mailrelay system, Comoro, started having problems at
approximately 7:00 pm last night. This resulted in a backlog of about
500 mail messages and caused the postoffice to crash. The systems were
all up and running again at 9:30 am but to avoid crashing mail again,
the delivery of the backlogged mail staggered over the morning. The
delivery of new mail has priority and should be getting delivered
quickly.
If you have any problems sending or receiving mail please get in touch
with CCS Help Services at ext. 55800.
