The Canadian Population Health Initiative (CPHI) is pleased to announce the
release of  "Improving the Health of Canadians: An Introduction to Health in
Urban Places ".  This report explores the patterns of health between and
within Canadian cities and looks at how the social and physical aspects of
urban neighbourhoods and housing may be linked to people's overall health.
It reviews the latest research, presents new analyses and explores relevant
policies and programs.

 

The full report, a summary report and a presentation are available, free of

L'Initiative sur la santé de la population canadienne (ISPC) est fière
d'annoncer la publication du rapport intitulé « Améliorer la santé des
Canadiens : Une introduction à la santé en milieu urbain « . Le rapport
compare les caractéristiques de santé entre les villes du Canada ainsi qu'à
l'intérieur de chacune d'elles. Il se penche sur les liens possibles entre
la santé générale des habitants et les aspects sociaux et physiques des
quartiers urbains et du logement. Il examine en outre des études récentes,
présente de nouvelles analyses, et explore des politiques et programmes
pertinents.
