From approximately 00:00-03:30 and again at 08:00 Friday morning the
gateway router connecting York to the Internet failed. Network
Operations came onsite and determined that there was a hardware and
possibly a software failure. The vendor, Cisco Systems, was notified and
a replacement router is on route.
