Several centrally supported computing systems and services will be
unavailable this Friday morning, September 2nd, from 5:00am until 6:30am.

The systems and services that will be unavailable are:
E-Mail (@yorku.ca addresses) and related services (e.g. LISTSERV)
York Web (the main York Web server)
Phoenix academic cluster
Anonymous FTP
WebCT
Passport York and applications using Passport York authentication
such as student applications - REM, STAC, etc., Manage My Services,
NoteBox, Atlas Updater, CEO-Deux, GEO-Deux, Roaming Access, Class Lists,
Action Request System (ARS), eReports, AirYork, YorkNet,VPN, EVote,
EForms, PTVNET, Go-Card, off-campus access to software available from CNS,
etc. will not be accessible.

CNS will be undertaking maintenance tasks and performing hardware upgrades
for more storage capacity.
