Harvard Health & Internet Meeting, May 30-31
The Internet and the Public's Health: Impact on Individuals, Communities
and the World is a conference to be presented by the Harvard School of
Public Health and Harvard Medical School on May 30-31, 2000 in Cambridge,
Massachusetts.
The conference will explore the promise of the Internet in relation to
four critical areas:
- supporting the doctor-patient relationship;
- improving healthcare systems;
- reaching the U.S. underserved;
- improving health in the developing world.
In addition to twenty panelpresenters, including George Sadowsky, Vice
President of Education, Internet Society, keynote speakers include Tom
Ferguson, The Ferguson Report; Esther Dyson, EdVentures, Inc.; Phil
Nudelman, Group Health/Kaiser; Fred Bukachi, HealthNet Kenya; and George Lundberg,
Medscape. Fee is $350 before March 31; $425 thereafter.
