Biographical Note: Gizaw Shibru
CPAR Uganda's Country Director, Gizaw Shibru, originally from Ethiopia,
studied Engineering in India and Voluntary Sector Management at York
University, and received a Master's Degree in Water and Sanitation in West
Germany. Mr Shibru served with CPAR Ethiopia in 1986, as project Manager
in the field, later programme manager and field director. He began the
Uganda programme in 1992 as country director.
