And the costs of having wireless service for a
Blackberry run about $80. to $100. CAD a month (these
devices are basically only accessible to people who
are supplied them through their govt. jobs or those
who can write them off tax-wise as a business
expense).  Considering that the monthly social
assistance rate in Ontario is $550. CAD. (or there
abouts and hasn't been increased in a decade) this is
an incredibly elistist perspective from a Minister of
Health Promotion.  He appears to be totally out of
touch with the health concerns and needs of low income
and working poor people.  

I hope a media person published this as I am dying to
write a Letter to the Editor in response.
