the California Breast Cancer Research Program

Dear Colleague,

Please help us spread the word about an exciting job opportunity at
the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP). The CBCRP
recently launched an $18 million dollar Special Research Initiative
to identify and support research strategies that both increase
knowledge about and create solutions to the environmental causes of
breast cancer and the unequal burden of the disease.

We are looking for a masters or doctoral level individual with
excellent research and writing skills and an interest in the
environmental causes of cancer and/or disparities. This individual
will provide data analysis and analytical support including
conducting integrative literature reviews, participate in the
recruitment and communication with national leaders in these fields,
create internal and external communication materials, assist in
developing the funding strategy, and contracts and grants
management.

This is an amazing opportunity for the right individual to
participate in a groundbreaking research opportunity.

The salary range is $51,336-$71,832 plus excellent benefits

About the California Breast Cancer Research Program  The California
Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) is the nation's largest State-
funded breast cancer research program and the 4th largest breast
cancer research funder in the world. Since 1994, The CBCRP has
awarded over $164 million in 672 grants to 73 institutions
throughout California.  The Program promotes, funds, manages, and
widely disseminates research on breast cancer in four ways: (1) a
Core Funding program of investigator-initiated grants to
investigators throughout California, including those at
universities, research institutes, health care institutions,
biotechnology companies, and community agencies; (2) a Community
Initiatives program that supports and expands community involvement
in research; (3) an External Relations program that disseminates
research results through Symposia, publications, web, etc. and
