What makes this gathering unique? Why should I attend?
The event will be facilitated by John Ott. John is the co-author of the
POWER of COLLECTIVE WISDOM and the trap of collective folly and has
successfully designed and led collective change efforts for almost 30
years. John's energy, vision and experience will be put to good use as
he guides us through the agenda and encourages participants to share
their own insights and experiences. The gathering will also feature
Sheatre's play Far from the Heart

(http://sheatre.com/far_from_the_heart.shtml)
This event will be an opportunity to:
* Meet other people involved in healthy community initiatives to
share information, resources and best practices;
* Explore the principles of successful community-led change and
the role of the convening organization;
* Learn more about engaging people, organizations, decision-makers
and "hard-to-reach" populations;
* Learn how to use evaluation to increase your impact, realize
community outcomes and enrich the story you tell;
* Develop skills to uncover community assets, resources and
leaders even during these times of funding cuts and downloading.
