Women on the margins say,
“Count us in on the policies that affect our health!”

Join us, this Wednesday, June 7th as Dr. David McKeown, Toronto’s Medical
Officer of Health introduces the Count Us In! report based on focus groups
with women, who are homeless or underhoused in Downtown East Toronto,
about
the health and social services they use.

· Hear about many of the barriers they face and their solutions for making
services more inclusive.
· Learn about the Count Us In! Charter for Offering Services to Women which
addresses how women want to be treated when they use services.
· Be a part of a policy action agenda that the women recommended for all
levels of government to ensure decent living standards for everyone.
