Facilitating with the Circle of Health: Self-assessment


Date: Monday, February 12th, 2007 

Time: 1:00pm to 2:30pm Atlantic Time (12:00pm ET, 1:30pm NT)

Purpose: To assess and identify skills for facilitating with the Circle of
Health.

 

Facilitating with the Circle of Health requires that you adapt basic
facilitation skills to the values and processes intrinsic to the Circle.
Skills identified as essential for facilitating with the Circle of Health
include generic facilitation skills and skills unique to the Circle of
Health.

 

Objectives:

*         Assess your Circle of Health facilitation skills (including
pre-workshop activity)

*         Make a plan to develop your skills in facilitating with the Circle

*         Identify resources to support you as a facilitator using the
Circle of Health

 

 

Pre-requisite: Working knowledge of the Circle of Health. Either completion
of the online workshop Understanding the Circle of Health: Components and
Theories, a similar in-person workshop (such as the foundations stream of
the Atlantic Summer Institute), or through communication with the

*         Circle of Health

*         Telephone

*         High speed internet
