The Comparative Program on Health and Society (CPHS) at the Munk Centre
for International Studies in the University of Toronto is pleased to
invite applications for the following 2006/7 fellowships
* CPHS New Faculty Fellowship ($40,000 towards a half-time
teaching buy-out + $5,000 Research Expenses)
* CPHS Distinguished Visitor Fellowship (max $40,000)
Applications are due November 10, 2006.
The CPHS supports research on the social determinants of health from a
wide variety of disciplinary and methodological perspectives. We are
particularly interested in projects examining (i) the relationship
between socio-economic status and health outcomes; (ii) access to health
and health-related services; or (iii) accountability mechanisms in the
governance of health and health-related services.
