Latex condoms have slight edge
A new USAID-funded study by Family Health International shows that the
standard latex condom has a slight edge over the polyurethane condom when it
comes to pregnancy prevention. But the newer, looser-fitting polyurethane
condom can prevent pregnancy as well as other barrier methods and may be an
alternative for individuals with latex sensitivity. To learn more, see
