Just a reminder that The Self-Help Resource Centre's next Toronto workshop
is of interest to professionals working with self-help and support groups. 

 

Groups in Transition: moving from professional leadership to mutual support

Tuesday, October 24, 1 to 4 pm with Gillian Kranias 

 

This participatory workshop will assist professionals to learn more about
self-help/peer support models, to identify key steps in building a
successful transition team and plan, and to consider their new role as a
professional "on tap, not on top"

 

Enrollment is limited to 20 people. Please register early to avoid
disappointment.

The $15 registration fee includes materials and refreshments.

Gillian Kranias has worked for 20 years as an adult educator and facilitator
of diverse community-based initiatives in Toronto and internationally. She
currently co-coordinates the Ontario Self-Help Network Program at the
Self-Help Resource Centre. In this position, Gillian supports the
development of both local and regional self-help/peer support initiatives
through consultations, networking support, training workshops and resource
materials.
