A SUNSIH Regional Conference
2006 International Health Conference
on Neglected Diseases
March 24th, 25th and 26th 2006
Thomson House, 3650 McTavish Street, Montréal, Québec
This conference will unite students with researchers, clinicians and others
in exchanging information and ideas about the current efforts in the field
of neglected disease research, and what further steps can be taken to
promote such research. During the course of the weekend presentations by
speakers involved in international health will help paint a picture of what
the global community is doing today to fight malaria, tuberculosis,
leishmaniasis and other neglected diseases, and what remains to be done;
panel discussions, workshops and other events will foster debate and
discussion of issues ranging from ethical and legal aspects to the use of
low-tech strategies in the fight against neglected diseases.
Cost: Before March 6th 2006, *$20 for students with web registration*
After March 6th/Non-student: $30
This conference price includes: all of the events held during the weekend; a
reception on Friday the 24th; breakfast, lunch and coffee&snacks on Saturday
the 25th; breakfast and coffee&snacks on Sunday the 26th; a nametag and
folder. Billeting is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
