The Canadian Population Health Initiative (CPHI) is pleased to announce
the release of How Healthy Are Rural Canadians? An Assessment of Their
Health Status and Health Determinants. This pan-Canadian report compares
rural and urban Canadians on a variety of health measures including rates
of death, chronic diseases, and self-rated health.

This new publication is a collaborative effort of CPHI, the Public Health
Agency of Canada and the Centre for Rural and Northern Health Research at
Laurentian University.

The report is available, free of charge, at www.cihi.ca/cphi.
