I like this article, but we must remember that a commitment to diversity (i.e.,
recognition of difference in the form of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc.)
is, in fact, compatible with a commitment to economic equality. It's not an
either/or choice, as the title seems to imply. Both economic inequality &
poverty and interpersonal discrimination are SDOH, and both must be combated.
