BUILDING CONNECTIONS WITH THE ONTARIO SELF HELP NETWORK 

Windsor, Thursday, February 22 (Please let your peers in the Windsor area
know.)

 

Learn about the Ontario Self-Help Network (OSHNET).  OSHNET is a provincial
program that promotes and supports self-help/mutual aid groups as well as
the agencies and professionals that work with these groups. On Thursday,
February 22, Spencer Brennan, Co-coordinator of OSHNET will be in Windsor,
Ontario to share information about the free consultation, resources and
training that OSHNET provides across the province.  Where to get help
starting a self-help group? How to build social capacity in your community?

BUILDING CONNECTIONS - BARRIE REGIONAL SELF-HELP CONFERENCE

Sponsored by the Ontario Self-Help Network (OSHNET) and the CMHA
Barrie-Simcoe Branch this one day conference is for self-helpers, volunteers
and professionals who are active with or interested in self-help, mutual-aid
and peer support initiatives. Workshops include facilitation tools,
self-care, conflict, peer support, and more. Guest speakers and a chance to
network with your peers in the Barrie region. Only $15 registration fee.  To
