The Alberta Public Health Association and the School of Public Health,
University of Alberta, are co-hosting the first Alberta Public Health
Summer School with many partner organizations and networks. The Summer
School will be held August 7 - 10, 2007 at Lister Centre, University of
Alberta in Edmonton.

This Summer School will focus on increasing the capacity of participants
to promote healthy living and reduce health disparities using tools,
resources and strategies to act upon the determinants of health.
Who should attend? Public health practitioners, health promotion
specialists, manager, policy makers, and community partners in health
promotion projects are invited to register. The curriculum is designed
to facilitate growth and support collaborative action. Register early!

and Wellness, University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge, Capital
Health Authority, Chinook Health Region, Alberta Healthy Living Network,
