Good day,

As part of "spring-cleaning" here are some tips on managing your
subscription options to this (and any other) listserv, including setting
to "NoMail" while you are away on vacation, and reinstating your
subscription on return. In the next message, there will be general tips
for posting messages to the list. Let's get active!

There are three ways to manage your CLICK4HP subscription:
- by email,
- on the CLICK4HP website, or
- by asking the CLICK4HP list administrators for help.

1) By Email
Please note that there is a different email address for listserv commands
or requests - not the whole CLICK4HP list membership. For unsubscribing
or subscribing, or changing your subscription settings, send your command
messages to the automated ListServ at the following address:
[log in to unmask]

***Leave the Subject Line Blank***
- this is important as the computer cannot read the command if there is
something in the subject line.

In the body of the message type in your command/request, such as:
UNSUB CLICK4HP
end

or
SET CLICK4HP NOMAIL
end

then send it.

If you add the word end on the next line it will not confuse your
signature file with another command.

If you have used the "No Mail" command and want to start up your Click4HP
messages again, follow the same procedure of sending a message to the
[log in to unmask] with the message in the body of SET CLICK4HP MAIL.

2) On the CLICK4HP website/archive (online subscription management)
Go to http://www.click4hp.ca
Click on Join or leave the list (or change settings)
You will be taken to:
https://listserv.yorku.ca/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=click4hp&A=1

If you have not set up a password already you will need to do so (click on
the part that says LogIn and it will give you an option to set up a
password). This is a 3 step process and takes about 5 minutes, but you
won't have to do it again.

Once you have entered your email address and password you can view your
subscription options and make changes.

For example, if you want to 'turn off' your subscription for a period of
time while you are on vacation, you want the 'NOMAIL' option. Look at the
lower part where it says:
Miscellaneous: Mail delivery disabled temporarily [NOMAIL]
You want to click on the button next to Mail delivery disabled. Submit it.
To turn it on again, follow the same procedure and click it OFF to start.

Or if you want to get the list messages only once a day - you can select
one of three ways to receive it in Digest (traditional, mime and HTML).

3) Contact the List Facilitators/Administrators
If you have a problem with any procedure, please contact the list
facilitators at <[log in to unmask]> or [log in to unmask]
To avoid accidentally sending your requests to the whole list, I suggest
that you use the simpler click4hp.ca email address.

You can always check the CLICK4HP archives to browse messages that you may
have missed (http://www.click4hp.ca).

Please let the CLICK4HP list administrators if and why you are leaving the
list - help us improve it. This health promotion listserv has been going
for 11 years - let's work together to keep it active and useful for many
more years. Your comments are very welcome!

Sincerely,

Alison Stirling, co-facilitator/administrator for CLICK4HP
