Pathfinder International is pleased to announce the publication of Enhanced
Access to Reproductive Health and Family Planning: Pathfinder International
in Ethiopia 2002-2007, documenting Pathfinder's USAID-funded Reproductive
Health and Family Planning (RH/FP) project. Since its launch in 2002, the
project has trained 10,000 community-based reproductive health agents in
6,315 villages. The project covers approximately 32 million people in 6
million households, which comprises about half of the project area
population and 43 percent of the national population. The paper details the
project's community-based approach to reproductive health, family planning,
maternal and child health, and reduction of harmful traditional practices.
