Based on a literature review and community-based research, this
preliminary study examines the impact of social policy on the health
status of older immigrant women in Toronto and the health and social
service seeking patterns of older immigrant women. Health Status and
Health Needs of Older Immigrant Women explores the role of Community
Health Centres in addressing the health and social service needs of
these women with a view to further research and application to service
interventions.
