The Nova Scotia provincial Health Council discussed this very issue yesterday at its meeting. We will be seeking information from the NS Department of Education and the school boards around this issue within the next week.

Hi everyone,

I am interested in finding out whether anyone in Ontario or Canada is
working on banning the sale of pop or other junk food in schools (by
elminating vending machines and/or cafeteria sales). Please let me know if
you are aware of any efforts in this area.

Thanks in advance.

Jodi
