Dear colleagues,
The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) (http://www.nshrf.ca
<http://www.nshrf.ca/> ) is collecting tools and resources related to
knowledge transfer (KT - defined as a process designed to create and
facilitate the exchange of meaningful information generated from health
research) and will be creating a Knowledge Transfer Toolkit, which will be
available on their website. I am helping gather the tools and resources, and
would really appreciate your suggestions. Specifically, we are looking for
tools/resources that assist researchers, clinicians, policy-makers, and
community groups with the following tasks:
* Assessing needs and identifying priorities for research;
* Promoting intersectoral collaboration in KT activities;
* Developing plans for disseminating research information;
* Developing user-friendly communication plans;
* Marketing the transfer of knowledge; and
* Measuring the impact of KT activities.
The NSHRF will be convening an advisory panel to screen the tools/resources
we collect, so at this point we are casting the net wide - all suggestions
welcomed and appreciated!
Many thanks in advance,
Cari Patterson
