Ann, I'd say the emphasis on "access to care" is even worse here. 

After all, it's in the vested interest of the medical elites of the acute
care system,  PharmaCare, and the psychiatric industry to further said
industries. And we've the public healthcare system already in place to
support their agenda. 

The politicians are, of course, obedient to these powerful lobbyists too. 

I mean, where is their incentive to further prevention of illness or promote
good health for all citizens? That ain't sexy and it sure can't be explained
in 5-second sound bytes.
