Communication and Advocacy Officer, who will be responsible for the
conceptualization, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of an
advocacy and communication strategy to promote the fulfillment of the
organizations' vision and mission.

Program (SoST) in West Africa and Latin America (SoS/WA-LA). This is a
permanent full-time position based in Ottawa. USC Canada is a leading
international development organization committed to social justice for
marginalized peoples around the world. Duties include administrative,
monitoring, planning, budgeting and reporting activities for the SoS
programs in West Africa (SoS/WA) and Latin America (SoS/LA). Write to USC

Reality"
We invite applications from students in graduate training and post-doctoral
fellows in applied health services and policy and/or population and public
health research for the 2005 Summer Institute to be held in Rocky Harbour,
Newfoundland in June 2005. The aim of the 2005 Summer Institute is to
provide a complementary training opportunity to students in applied health
services and policy and/or population and public health research across
disciplines, sectors, and institutions, by bringing together researchers,
decision-makers and community learners from across Canada and from a variety

Call to Action: Interested in working for OHAfrica?
In response to a call to action from Stephen Lewis, the U.N Secretary
General's Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa, the Ontario Hospital
Association and The Change Foundation have established an initiative to lend
a hand in the fight against the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa.
OHAfrica is looking for HIV-experienced doctors, preferably with some
experience working in developing countries, who are interested in working
alongside other Canadian health care providers at an HIV clinic and
providing HIV training in Lesotho on a six to twelve-month paid contract
that includes housing or on shorter term locums. For more information,
