Description: The Ministry of Health Promotion is seeking a results-orientated leader to implement ministry priorities such as the Smoke-free Ontario and the Healthy Eating and Active Living action plans. You will provide strategic direction and leadership in developing and implementing policies, programs and services, and managing the daily operational requirements of the branch.
Qualifications: proven strategic and financial planning and analysis skills; excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills; superior organization, human resources and financial management experience; effective team-building, stakeholder relationship management, negotiation and problem-solving skills; understanding of government processes, public health/health promotion principles and practices; proven ability to manage a wide range of complex issues with political acuity and excellent judgment.
