Call for Submissions: Spirituality

The Canadian Breast Cancer Network publishes a quarterly magazine entitled Network News/Nouvelles du Réseau, which is distributed to 5,000 individuals and groups across Canada. Previous issues of Network News have been themed issues on topics such as young survivors; metastatic breast cancer; environmental factors relating to breast cancer; rural, remote and Northern women living with breast cancer; and, most recently, breast cancer research.

This is a solicitation for articles on the topic of Spirituality and is intended for women living with breast cancer and researchers working in the area of spirituality and breast or other cancers.

Women living with breast cancer

How would you define spirituality? What does spirituality mean to you? Are you involved in an organized religion, and if so, how has it helped you get through your breast cancer experience? What else has helped you? Has religion sometimes been a hindrance to you or your family? Consider sharing your experiences about the issues you have faced and how you have learned, or are learning, to adapt.

Researchers

If you have conducted or are conducting research on spirituality and breast cancer or other cancers, please consider submitting an article about your findings. We will also print information about research studies or surveys on this topic.
