Project (India)
Reports from the Jamkhed Comprehensive Rural Health Project
Ontario Nurse and Health Consultant Lee Mantini is currently
in Jamkhed, Maharashtra, India with the Jamkhed Comprehensive
Rural Health Project (JCRHP). The project is almost 40 years
old. See the JCRHP website at: http://www.jamkhed.org/
Lee is running a narrative blog on the Jamkhed project and
her experiences at http://leesadventuresinindia.blogspot.com/
The blog is expected to run through March, the Canadian
academic winter term.
The blog would be particularly useful for nursing students
with an interest in global health issues, and cross-cultural
nursing and health collaboration.
This is an insightful window on an excellent rural health
project.
