The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and the local Maternal Child Health
Coalition are organizing a one day conference for health professionals. 

 

Date: Friday, November, 14, 2008

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Location: Giovanni Caboto Club, 2175 Parent Ave, Windsor, Ontario

On November 14, 2008, experts in women's health, pregnancy, and physical
activity will be in Windsor to discuss their research and experience
related to pregnancy weight gain, obesity, and risks related to labour
and delivery.

Dr. Emily Oken:            Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School,

Primary care physician at the Fish Center for Women's Health at Brigham
and Women's Hospital

 

Dr. Julia Alleyne:           Sport Medicine Physician, physiotherapist,
current Medical Director of Sport C.A.R.E at Women's College Hospital

 

Dr. Sharon Dore:          Advance Practice Nurse in OB/GYN at Hamilton
Health Sciences, Associate clinical Professor in both the School of
Nursing and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
