dear all,
i have been a lurker for some time now, but i would like to ask for
guidance with the safe use of fat-loss aids. please help, as my life
could depend on it!
i have used a modified version of the ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin stack for
several months now (25 mg ephedrine, 200 mg caffeine, 250 mg l-tyrosine,
and 150 mg st. john's wort), with impressive results.
i follow a strict exercise regimen 3 mornings per week, and i would like
to incorporate yohimbe root (yohimbine) into my stack. first, a few
questions:
1. is yohimbe an alpha-2 antagonist? i've read that this is the case, and
that this action produces greater fat-loss in areas of the body with a
higher density of a-2 receptors (lower extremeties, abdominal area).
2. for the above purposes, is ingested yohimbe effective? if so, what
quantity and frequency should be used? ideally, i would like to combine
the ingestion of yohimbe with the above-mentioned stack, which i typically
take on an empty stomach before morning exercise.
i sincerely ask for your help in safely incorporating yohimbe into my
exercise regimen (assuming that i take the e/c/a modified stack
concurrently). both private and public replies are welcome!
PLEASE ADVISE!
thank you for your time,
tim ferriss
