Subject: CCPH Seeking Student Volunteers for 10th Anniversary Conference in
Toronto

Dear Students,

Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) is seeking student
volunteers from the Toronto area to help out at their upcoming 10th
Anniversary Conference in Toronto. The conference takes place April 11-14,
2007 and this year's theme is "Mobilizing Partnerships for Social Change."
They are also seeking students to help out on Tuesday, April 10 (to stuff
bags). Volunteer activities include spending at least 2 (or more if you
want!) hours stuffing conference bags, acting as liaisons between session
presenters and conference staff, and attending community site visits* to
local organizations. *Volunteers for community site visits must be available
for at least 6 hours on Friday afternoon, April 13, see sign up form for
more information.

This is an excellent learning opportunity for students. We are organizing a
special track of sessions for emerging leaders along with other fantastic
workshops, film sessions, story sessions and poster sessions. To view a
preliminary program, visit http://depts.washington.edu/ccph/conf-agenda.html
and click on "Preliminary Program."
This opportunity is open to students (undergrad, grad, etc.) attending an
institute of higher education (community college, technical college,
university, etc.) in Toronto or surrounding areas.

In return we are offering students free registration and meals on the day(s)
that they volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering on one, some, or
all of the conference days, please complete the attached volunteer sign up
form by the February 23 deadline and send it to Annika Sgambelluri by email:
[log in to unmask] or fax: 206-685-6747.

For complete information on the conference, visit

For information on CCPH, visit http://depts.washington.edu/ccph/index.html.
If you have any questions about volunteering, please email Annika
Sgambelluri at [log in to unmask]
