Hi Cheryl,

I don't have any evidence based examples but can think of at least one initiative that has tied a health promotion message to a product, or at least a store. I am thinking of Think First's Injury Prevention - helmet program with Walmart.

Subject: [CLICK4HP] Seeking information on health promotion messaging on consumer products

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone on this list is familiar with any initiatives (including evidence on effectiveness) where health promotion messaging is attached to consumer products (ie. a hang tag or accompanying information piece)?

Thus far I have only been able to locate information regarding warning labels and consumer products, and am wondering if there are examples or literature on other types of health promotion or public health messaging being provided with consumer products.

Any references or suggestions on where I might be able to find information on this topics would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Cheryl
