The Centre for Research on Inner City Health (CRICH) at St. Michael's
Hospital is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the position
of Research Coordinator II. The Research Coordinator will be part of the
newly created CRICH Survey Research Unit (SRU), which oversees the
coordination of a variety of survey research projects. Under the supervision
of a SRU Manager, the Research Coordinator will have the opportunity to
coordinate two research projects related health and social housing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee data collection phase of specific SRU projects
Manage budget, timelines and staffing
Assist Principal Investigators (PIs) in the implementation of study
protocols
Ongoing communication with project external partners and PIs
Prepare Research Ethics Board submissions
Represent CRICH SRU at project specific meetings
Ensure appropriate regulations are adhered to in the conduct of research
Supervision of research assistants
Project documentation and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:

Master Degree in related discipline (ex: sociology, public health,
geography) or equivalent research experience
Minimum of 3 years of related research experience
Experience with marginalized populations and/or health promotion/social work
background
Project management skills
Working knowledge of  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent organization and problem solving skills
Initiative and attention to detail
Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
