From: Robert Ross

I write to make you aware of a Symposium organised by the Center for
Obesity Research and Education (CORE) here at Queen's that will take
place on the afternoon of June 9th. Although we often overuse the term
'once in a lifetime', for anyone interested in the role of physical
activity in the prevention and management of disease, this is truly a
unique event. As you will note from that attached program we have
invited five internationally recognised speakers. As you well recognize
they represent some of the best researchers and speakers in the field of
exercise medicine. To have 5 colleagues of this caliber in the same
Symposium provides a wonderful opportunity for the entire allied health
profession. Apart from being outstanding researchers, they are all
excellent speakers and will readily make themselves available to all
during and after the Symposium.

There is no charge to attend the Symposium - HOWEVER - those planning to
attend MUST register
(http://www.obesitynetwork.ca/files/CORE_Exercise_is_Medicine_Registrati
on_FINAL.pdf) as we will be promoting the event throughout Ontario and
hope to fill the amphitheatre (450 people).

If you think it appropriate would you please circulate these documents
to any individual and/or constituency that you think would want to be
aware of this special opportunity.

I look forward to seeing you at this special event. We have over 350
registrants to date.

Warm Regards,

Robert Ross
