There will be several brief interruptions in York's DNS services on 
Friday July 31st between 06:00am - 07:30am, as our DNS servers are 
upgraded.

The DNS servers are used by internet applications to convert host names to 
network IP addresses.  Users who have correctly configured their computers 
with the IP addresses of multiple DNS servers will likely experience small 
delays on all internet connections during this outage. Users who have 
configured their computers with only one DNS server will likely suffer a 
complete outage on all internet connections for the duration of that 
server's upgrade window.
