The Hillman Seminars in International Health and Development carries on the tradition of the CIHAD (Centre for International Health and Development) series, weekly Monday lunch hour sessions with some of the most interesting and experienced researchers, leaders, students and professionals working in this field.
Always organized and attended by students of the health professions, the series is now part of a course attended by roughly 100 students from the five programs at the Health Sciences campus of University of Ottawa in the Roger Guindon building. It is organized for and open to the public as well, and we invite you to join us for the winter seminars. Roger Guindon is adjacent to CHEO and the General Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.
January 22nd's seminar will be given by Dr. Kevin Pottie, co-director of the Immigrant Health Program at University of Ottawa. Dr. Pottie will speak about Refugee Health based on the work done by this program in Ottawa.
