The latest from economicus ridiculous continues the Necessities theme:

1. Necessities: Housing http://bit.ly/dmxDoa On finding accessible
low-income housing for people with special needs. Government legislation and
government-funded housing programs, both public and subsidized private, do
not diminish but add additional barriers.

2. Necessities: Animal Companions http://bit.ly/91Y6hs Found to be
especially an issue for women who live alone and/or people with
disabilities. In BC, landlords can and almost all do, including private
subsidized and public housing management, deny tenancy to people who have pets.

3. Necessities: Housecleaning http://bit.ly/atnk63 On the difficulties, both
physical for persons with disabilities and budget-wise, on keeping one's
home clean.
