Engaging Your Community: Community Engagement Workshop - Brockville

Presented by the Healthy Communities Consortium, this free interactive
workshop is available to organizations and groups who are working with
or interested in the Healthy Communities Partnerships.

Through networking, small group activities, one-on-one interviews and
formal presentations you will have the opportunity to....

    * hear examples of what others are doing to engage community
members;
    * share engagement strategies that you and other communities have
used (including best practices and key factors for success);
    * examine the links between community engagement, health promotion
and the determinants of health;
    * explore ways to reach out to community members in specific sectors
and regions;
    * and share community engagement tools and resources.

The workshop will be facilitated by Healthy Communities Support
Services, OHCC and the Health Promotion Hub, Health Nexus.
