How are rich people affected by poverty? Dennis and Kenneth started us off
with some answers. I've added a couple and invite others to do the same.

If you're a rich person, and you and other members of the power elite
continue to ignore poverty, then

1. You're more likely to get mugged, experience a home invasion, or have
your car stolen.
2. You'll have to wait longer in the ER.
3. Your local hospital will take more of your taxes to maintain.
4. The value of your real estate will decrease. So could your business,
unless it trades on the hopelessness of others.
5. Homeless people will litter your streets with their bodies and
possessions. This is aesthetically displeasing.
