Maybe O'Niell is a collateral. I don't know that anyone has chased down
every connection, or would want to. The publicist at William Morrow who
handled _Inventing Mark Twain_ said she was related, and proved it to my
satisfaction, by SLC's maternal grandfather. By now there must be
thousands of those folks around. I'd be more interested if someone
traced a connection to Annie Webster or Sam Moffett. I didn't come
across any charts of those families in the course of my research. Has
anyone else?
