Dear Forum,

In recent days, Mary Lou Caskey and Joseph McCullough have commented on MT
and his comments about the American transition to the twentieth century.

These remarks seem to assume that the 21st century and the 3rd millennium
will begin on January 1, 2000.

I request that everyone think again. The twentieth century does not have
99 years in it (1999).

Best wishes to all,
Bill Keyser
